We’re a family-owned and operated, first-generation farming family based in Margaret River, Western Australia. We pride ourselves in growing superior pasture raised chicken, both in nutritional density and rich flavour.
Farmer Sam’s introduction to Regenerative Agriculture occurred following the sale of our home and our relocation to rural South Australia, where we sought a taste of farm life and a change in profession.
The more he looked into the primary principles of Regenerative Agriculture, the more it made sense.
Itching to practice everything we had learned and read about, Rosa’s Ridge was established in 2019 with the backing and support of Sam’s parents, Pieter and Heidi, who have been a rich resource in brain and manpower throughout.
Here, at Rosa’s Ridge, we use a holistic approach to land management; ensuring water is retained, soil is continually improved, carbon is stored and biodiversity is increased.
Working as nature intended, we use a range of animal species on our farm to control grazing, sanitise pastures, and gently disturb and fertilise soils and crops.
One of the easiest ways for us to become a healthier society is to be more conscious of what we consume.
Obtaining nutrients from real food sources is always preferable to popping a supplement, and making the easy switch to pasture raised protein is a great way to boost your body’s vitamin and mineral intake.
Our current line of products include Pasture-raised Chicken.
As we grow, we hope to increase the range of products available and make them more accessible for every-day families looking to support healthier food systems direct from the farmers they know and trust.
